SCOTCHCOULTHARD FARM AND SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY COTTAGES.
INTRODUCTION
There are five converted stone cottages set on a small farm. Scotchcoulthard is 2 miles from the nearest farm, 4 miles from the nearest B road and 7 miles from the nearest town. The town is Haltwhistle which has a train stations, bus stops and two supermarkets.
ARRIVAL & CAR PARKING
The cottages are set in a āUā shape with parking in the middle for a few cars. There is more parking about 25 yards away in the designated area.
COTTAGE ACCESS
Acorn, Hawthorn and The Byre are accessed by a set of 3 quite wide steps: 60cm deep by 16cm high. There is a portable ramp that can be put in place if required. High Tipalt and Hope Sike have two sets of access. The first which is just after the car park has two sets of 5 steps both 43cm deep by 14cm high. The other access has 3 steps: 40cm deep by 18ch high.
STAIRS INSIDE COTTAGES
Acorn:- There is a staircase of 12 at a width of 81cm, depth of 25cm, height of 20cm.
Hawthorn:- There is a staircase of 11 at a width of 93cm, depth of 27cm and height of 20cm.
The Byre:- This cottage is mainly on one floor. There is a long step from the kitchen into the living area at a height of 21cm. There is one step into the master bedroom which is 12cm high. From this room into the en-suite there are two steps 14cm high and 67cm wide.
High Tipalt:- This cottage has two staircases leading from the twin bedrooms to the bathrooms. One room has 11 steps 24cm depth.18cm high. The other room has 4 curved steps height 18cm. Width 45cm and depth at the deepest part 30cm. This then turns into standard stairs 22cm depth and 18cm high.
Hope Sike is on one floor.
PUBLIC AREAS
There are 3 steps to the games room/swimming pool building. Height 15cm and depth 32cm. From the changing room to the pool area there are 3 steps: Depth 30cm, height 15cm.
