The Guest Room is a new room for 2012.

It can be used in conjunction with another cottage or as a room alone B&B (i.e you bring your own breakfast).

The prices are:-

£200 per week or £25 pppn up to 3 nights off peak.

£250 per week or £30pppn up to 3 nights peak times (shown in red).

Anything else please ask.

The prices are inclusive of linen, towels, all fuels including coal and logs, use of the swimming pool and games room. Normal bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Variations may be possible, please ask.

Booking: 25% deposit with booking would be appreciated with the balance five weeks prior to arrival. The price paid covers occupation by the same number of people as the number of standard beds available.Cheques to be made payable to Scotchcoulthard. Visa, mastercard and most others are accepted. Direct payments can also be made.

Short breaks are available but may not apply in peak periods. A short break consists of 3 nights (arrival 4pm departure 10am) or 2 whole days (arrival evening before, departure evening of second day). Longer times can be arranged with the price adjusted accordingly.

Swimming pool. The pool will be closed from the beginning of November until  beginning of April. There is a £20 reduction on short breaks at this time.

If a one bedroomed cottage is not available a two bedroomed cottage may be offered using only one bedroom.

Deposits and payments are non refundable so Holiday Insurance is strongly recommended.

Dogs Welcome. If you are thinking of bringing a pet please discuss this with us beforehand. Please be aware of the proximity of sheep, hens and ground nesting birds especially in early summer. However we do not require that well behaved dogs are kept on a lead on walks, it is their holiday as much as yours and we have acres of land for them to run off their energy!

It would be appreciated if No Smoking could be observed in the cottages.

Alternative start dates possible. During the summer holidays a Friday to Friday booking in The Byre and Acorn will be offered.
