PETS

We have many animals on the farm. Our pets are:- Jan, Meg, Heidi and Ben the black labradors, Honey the yellow labrador and Katy, Mishka and Sasha the cats. Mishka had kittens in June 2011 and we kept one of them, Kasper. He is very friendly so you may see him around. 

The dogs do like to visit and will plead hunger! Heidi often tags along for a walk if guests are happy to have her.

Our dogs are very friendly with visiting dogs - so much so they have their own fan club on the Labrador Forum!

FARM ANIMALS

The farm animals are mainly Rare Breed. We have one Large Black boar (George) and two Middle White sows (Pinky and Perky). There can often be piglets about the place! We also share Esme with a neighbouring farm. She is a Rare Breed cross who visits George and then produces piglets for us. We do sell our pork, sausages and lamb when available.

There are Manx Loghtan sheep that roam at will plus some ex-pet lambs that are still friendly. We sometimes have a couple of shetlands visiting us for their holidaysand one or two larger horses. The shetlands are Bess and Spike and do like some attention.

We have a selection of hens including Marans. When they are not broody there are fresh eggs to buy.

WILD ANIMALS
