Roy and I want to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Scotchcoulthard. We thank you very much for the comfort of the cottage and for arranging for us to have our swim while your pool was under repair.
It was our first visit to your part of the country and it won't be our last.
Roy had great fun lighting the fire each evening but would have liked some kindling to go with the firelighters to make the job easier.

Hawthorn
Dear Susan and Andy
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Hawthorn, when we came for The Great North Run. The cottage was very comfortable. Our 3 dogs had a great time running around and playing with your children and dogs in the fields and streams.
It was so kind of you to look after the dogs for the day we went to Newcastle for the run.
We really enjoyed helping feed the sheep and my niece loved the fresh eggs she collected for breakfast.
All the best for the future, we will be coming to stay again.
